Directed by the dividing structures into one way or another, viewers, whether hidden or visible, are facing their surroundings, ( their ) images, ( their ) replicas, what’s around and in between. A scanner scanned the field of it’s glass plate, at times mirroring itself, winning agency, flipping sides and highlighting traces : fading allusions, fleeting impressions, fragmented gazes, dead bodies… Dust, fingerprints, flesh, fluids, glitches, glory hole, hairs, hands, interfaces, leftovers, lenses, light, lines, marble necks, mirrors, moirés, Narcissus crops, pick up lines, a porn actor, simulacrums, screens, screenshots, skin, smartphones, sun reflections, prisms and wax cast meet through a time based human / device choreography. Enlarged and printed, some images are trapped and presented under sterile interchangeable boxes calculated in terms of bodily and advertising measurements. Reflections upon reflections, surfaces reveal or cancel each other.
